Reason for Applying: Recognizing that Jesus gave His life for me and for the rest of us, I am compelled to imitate Him by giving the most that I can--my life in service to the Chruch.

What does the priesthood mean to you:  First and foremost, I recognize the priesthood--and more specifically, God's sacraments given through His priests--as one of the ways God wishes to spread His saving love to the world.  Secondly, I imagine deriving indescribable joy from helping God with His work of building the kingdom in Heaven, that is, directing people closer to God and ultimately to eternity with Him in Heaven.
