Reason for Applying: I applied because I simply had to know if the priesthood was the path that I ought to take. It had been bugging me on and off for years, and when I finally finished up my AA, I found myself at a crossroads. I just needed to see for sure if this was right for me. So far, so good.

What does the priesthood mean to you: In a nutshell, the Priesthood, to me, means service. But I don’t mean service in a basic way. I mean service in the sense of an intense spending of oneself for the supernatural and spiritual needs of others—the service of charity. It means modeling myself after Christ by being a bridge between God and humanity. It is a tall order, but one I hope dearly that God will give me the grace to fulfill.
